POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two people have been arrested during a traffic stop after police say they were found with various drugs.

According to the Pocono Township Police Department, on March around 11:40 p.m., officers pulled over a car on State Route 611.

Police made contact with three people, two of them being Shalimar Pellot-Badillo, 28, from Lebanon, and Amber Moyer, 32, from Cleona. Officers said “clues and behavior” indicated the use and possession of drugs.

The car was impounded, and a search warrant was issued. During the search, Police say they found heroin, methamphetamine, related paraphernalia, and brass knuckles.

All three were arrested and charges were filed against Pellot-Badillo, Moyer, and one other person who was not identified.
