EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) says they’re seeking the public’s feedback through an online survey regarding services provided throughout the winter season.

According to PennDOT, the survey consists of 16 questions asking the public about their timeline expectations for safe and driveable roadways, how PennDOT ranks in snow-removal priorities, and how they rate PennDOT’s winter services in general.

“The PennDOT team works diligently to keep roadways safe and passable in the winter months, often in challenging conditions. The public’s feedback helps us review operations and also identify ways we can enhance public information,” explained PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll.

Officials say the survey is completely anonymous and asks respondents how they receive PennDOT roadway information and if they use the state’s 511PA traveler information services.

The survey can be found online and should take around five minutes to complete, PennDOT says.

Drivers can check the PennDOT website for information on projects happening this year as construction season begins.
