NORTHUMBERLAND — The annual Christmas Concini toy program for kids has started, with drop-off points for donated Christmas toys throughout the borough.In 1990, the late Chief Martin Concini Jr. desired to contribute to those families in Northumberland who were in need during the holiday season.Since 1998, the Northumberland Police Department has collected toys for the less fortunate in his memory. The program assists families in Northumberland, Point Township, Sunbury and many other communities.Unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the following locations: Northumberland Police Station or borough office; Priestley/Forsyth Library, 100 King Street in Northumberland; Northumberland National Bank at 245 Front St. in Northumberland; Surplus Outlet Store on Route 11; Pineknotter Brewing, 254 Front St., Northumberland; On A Roll, 92 Queen St., Northumberland; and Norry Treasures, 246 Duke St., Northumberland.
