Northumberland County to raise taxes in 2025, petitions court for 5-mill increase

SUNBURY — Northumberland County property owners may see a tax increase ranging from $35 to $150 per household in 2025. Earlier this week, county commissioners voted in a special meeting to petition the court to increase the tax rate from 25 mills to 30 mills.
