LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge is warning residents to be aware of dumped puppies on the loose near the Dallas area.
Monday afternoon, officials with the Blue Chip Farm stated in a Facebook post that they had taken in four Mastiff- mix puppies, all from the same litter, that were dumped in numerous spots in the area. They're asking drivers to be aware of the dogs when driving on Chase Road.
They ask residents to not go out looking for the puppies as they are scared and will not let humans near them.

Employees say they have been out all morning searching the area with professional trapper and two more puppies have been reportedly spotted as the day went on.
Officials with the animal refuge did not specify how man dogs are unaccounted for.
