GLEN LYON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — An incident involving eight people is under investigation after a stabbing left a man severely injured.
According to the Newport Township Police Department, around 9:00 p.m. Sunday, an altercation involving eight people took place at the KVAL Food Outlet on East Main Street in Glen Lyon.
Man accused of indecently touching child at Walmart
Police say guns were involved but no shots were fired. They also say someone had a knife and a man was stabbed during the incident. Officers said the victim is currently in serious but stable condition at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
The investigation into the altercation is ongoing. All eight people were taken in for interviews but no arrests or charges have been made at this time.
