EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — A man wanted for a deadly stabbing in Wilkes-Barre has been arrested in Maine Monday.
According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office in Maine, on Monday, August 26 around 10:30 p.m. the county jail admitted a new arrest from the Dexter Police Department.
The man, Justice Flenory, 23, of Exeter, Maine, was taken to the jail for alleged drug offenses. During the booking process, officers said they noticed "unusual behavior" from Flenory.
This prompted the officer to investigate and found that Flenory had given a fake name and date of birth to the arresting officers.
Once Flenory was properly identified, officers confirmed that he had a full extradition active warrant for murder out of Wilkes-Barre.

Court documents state on May 7, Flenory and Scott Knox, 33, were driving together and went to an alley near the Mofon Lounge to meet Jaime Knights, 63, of Wilkes-Barre, and three other men around 3:30 a.m. Police say Knox was confronted by the five men about a drug deal and they began to assault him.
During the assault Flenory, Knights, and the three men punched Knox and he was stabbed multiple times, as stated in the affidavit. Knox was able to flee from the assault but later died from his injuries.
Knights was arrested on July 25 in Bath, New York.
Flenory will remain in custody as a fugitive for a Pennsylvania Governor's warrant for murder, unlawful trafficking in drugs, and aggravated forgery.
