Three charged with stealing two PA Games of Skill Machines

SHENANDOAH, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Three men are in custody after allegedly stealing two PA Games of Skill Machines from a food market in Schuylkill County.

According to the Shenandoah Police Department, on August 21 around 7:30 p.m., officers were called to Boyers Food Market for a reported theft of a PA Games of Skill Machine.

Officers say while responding to the incident they were told that the suspect's car was a Chevrolet van with 24-year-old Juan Reyes Valdez, 26-year-old Ezequiel Acevado, and 41-year-old Atahualpa De La Cruz inside traveling on State Route 61.

Moments later police said an officer in West Mahanoy Township Police Department noticed the Chevrolet van and conducted a traffic stop.

The criminal complaint states that once Reyes Valdez, Acevado, and De La Cruz were placed in custody, officers saw two PA Games of Skill Machines, valued at $3,700 in the back of the van.

All three were transported back to the Shenandoah Police Station for processing.
