COLTS prepare to hold annual Stuff the Bus campaign

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The County of Lackawanna Transit System (COLTS) is preparing to hold its annual Stuff the Bus campaign in Lackawanna County.

In the last 15 years, the county's transit authority has collected just under $50,000 and over 13,000 toys for the Toys for Tots Foundation.

COLTS says they are looking for any new unwrapped toys or monetary donations.

Wawa to open new location in December

"And we hope to make it bigger and better every year. To make the lives of children that may otherwise not have a Christmas get a Christmas," Public Relations Coordinator for COLTS Stuff the Bus Katie McAndrew said.

The COLTS bus will go around and pick up all the donated toys on December 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
