HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro made a stop in northeast Pennsylvania on Wednesday to highlight economic growth.

The goal is to make the state government more efficient to create more job opportunities, more tourism, and more projects to put the state on the map.
"For our community, for collaboration, for again, being connected to multiple state agencies that it takes to do a project like that. We'll improve and be successful all at the end of the day to make the Greater Hazleton area a better place to live work and play," said Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce President Mary Malone.
The executive order also sets up a public dashboard, which will serve as an important accountability tool for both the state agencies and companies working on these projects.
