STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News caught up with DPW crews preparing for the storm in Monroe County on Thursday.
The Stroudsburg Borough Public Works Crew is ready to hit the streets.
They spent the day making sure their equipment was ready for a long night.

"We're getting ready here you know just getting our spreaders on making sure everything is working. Getting the plows on just in case we have to scrape. Again we're not really sure what we're getting into, but whatever it is we'll be ready here in Stroudsburg," said Stroudsburg Borough Public Works Director Brian Ace.
Since the snow is preceded by rain, crews were not able to treat the roads with brine first, so roads may become snow-covered quickly.
