NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two men were found not guilty of an attempted homicide in Northumberland County Wednesday.
According to Northumberland County District Attorney Michael O'Donnell, Anthony Moultrie and Francky Riche were being accused of shooting at a vehicle occupied by Naseir Robinson, a relative of Ajani Munsh-Ousha Uhuru, who was previously found guilty of the shooting death of Kareem Jakes in May of 2022.
It took the jury two hours to determine there was not enough evidence to convict Moultrie and Riche, O'Donnell told 28/22 News.

Officials say back in August, Moultrie and Riche's proceedings ended in a mistrial due to a shooting that occurred outside the courthouse during a lunch break that killed Dayveon Creel.
Naseir Robinson, Carnel Shelborne Jr, and Denarii Springs were in the courtroom for the Moultrie and Riche trial and are now facing charges in relation to the deadly shooting of Creel, as stated by officials.
O'Donnell says Shelborne Jr. and Robinson were arrested and Denarii Springs is still on the run.
No trial date has been set for Springs and Shelborne Jr.
