COOLBAUGH TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A driver has died after police say his car crashed into a box truck due to snow conditions on State Route 611.
On November 22, the Pocono Mountain Regional Police were called to a crash involving a sedan and a box truck.
Police stated one driver, Brian Rambhawan, 36, of Pocono Summit, was traveling south on SR611 when he lost control of his car on the snow-covered roads.
Roads closures, restrictions across PA due to snow impact
Investigators stated Rambhawan's car spun into the oncoming northbound traffic and collided with a large box truck.
Rambhawan was pronounced dead on the scene due to the injuries he sustained.
The crash remains under investigation.
