28/22 NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Interstate 84 and Interstate 380 North have reopened with restrictions in several counties that have been put in place for others due to Friday's storm.
According to PennDOT, I-84 was closed starting at the 380 splits in Lackawanna County, to Exit 34 (Lords Valley/Dingmans Ferry) in Pike County.
Traffic backed up on Interstate 81 leading to Interstate 84 and 380 which have been closed due to Friday's winter storm.
PennDOT had shut down I-380 northbound between Exit 20 (Daleville/Moscow) and the I-84 split in Roaring Brook Township.
Drivers on Interstate 81 will see speeds reduced to 45 mph in Schuylkill County.

In addition, PennDOT says a Tier 3 vehicle restriction has been implemented on the following roadways:
Interstate 81 from I-84 to the New York line.
Interstate 84 in Lackawanna, Pike, and Wayne Counties.
Interstate 380 in Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne Counties.
When Tier 3 restrictions are in place, PennDOT says no commercial vehicles are permitted except loaded single trailers with chains or approved Alternate Traction Devices.
Additionally, all school buses, commercial buses, motor coaches, motorcycles, RVs/motorhomes, and passenger vehicles (cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, etc.) towing trailers are not permitted on affected roadways while restrictions are in place.
