Thunderstorms, gusty winds expected Tuesday night

EYEWITNESS WEATHER (WBRE/WYOU) — After a quiet start Tuesday morning with some sunshine, cloud cover thickens up as a cold front approaches northeast and central Pennsylvania.

The front will arrive from west to east starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing through the evening. Scattered showers and storms will develop along the front, some potentially on the stronger side.

The main threats with any thunderstorms will be gusty winds, hail, and downpours. After midnight, most showers and storm activity should subside.

The rest of the week offers some sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s with more comfortable humidity levels.
