Subpoena issued for Roberson hours before his execution

The Texas Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence voted at the end of its hearing Wednesday to subpoena Robert Roberson to testify as it considers how the law was applied to his case. This motion was made with less than 24 hours of Roberson’s scheduled execution.
