I was at the Berlin Pride celebration two weeks ago. The Pride — what the Germans call Christopher Street Day (yes, in English). It was also the day when a madman drove a car into a crowd and wreaked havoc in the lives of so many. I still feel for the families of the one woman killed and the 29 injured, plus all the people who have been traumatized by the violence.
