(WHTM) - The Philadelphia Eagles are back in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years and are seeking the second Super Bowl championship in team history.
Standing in their way are the back to back Super Bowl winning Kansas City Chiefs and future Hall of Fame coach Andy Reid.
This will be the second time Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts plays in the Super Bowl after losing to Kansas City two years ago.
“The mission is to go take advantage of the opportunities we present ourselves with,” said Hurts. “But also I have my history and the things that I’ve experienced that I can use as tools to help those around me and help myself.”
The biggest difference for Philadelphia this time around is having the Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley on their side. Barkley will look to set the NFL record for most rushing yards in the regular and postseasons combined.
The Super Bowl kicks off from New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. on February 9.
