SUNBURY, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Police say that one man is in custody after an over five-hour standoff Thursday afternoon.
According to a post made by the Sunbury Police Department, police were called to the 200 block of Pine Street.
When arriving on-scene, a man inside the residence stated he had weapons resulting in him barricading himself inside the house.

Police say due to the nature of the incident, a Pennsylvania State Police Emergency Response Team was dispatched to assist officers on-scene.
The male was taken into custody around 9:00 p.m. without anyone being injured.
The incident is currently under investigation.
