WARWICK TWP., LANCASTER COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The pilot who died in a small plane crash in central Pennsylvania has been identified as a well-known doctor.
Doctor Musaddiq Nazeeri, who practiced in Lebanon, died in a plane crash on Sunday morning.
Husband accused of murdering wife has court appearance
Officials stated Nazeeri was flying to State College Regional Airport when the aircraft went down in a field about a half-mile from Lancaster Airport.
The 58-year-old was the only one on the plane when it crashed.
No one on the ground was hurt. An autopsy will be done, and the FAA, along with the NTSB, is investigating.
