(WHTM)-- Three Pennsylvania theme parks were rated among the best in the United States in a list published by Tripadvisor.
The list, which is under the Amusement Park section of Tripadvisor's 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards "Best of the Best Things to Do" category, ranks the top 20 Amusement and Water Parks in the United States.
Three parks in Pennsylvania were featured on this year's list, including one in the top five.
The list also featured one local amusement park. Coming in at 18 was Hersheypark, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Hersheypark is rated 4.1 out of five on Tripadvisor.
Founded in 1906, Hersheypark, located only 15 miles from Harrisburg, features some of the biggest roller coasters in the country. While the park features both an Amusement and Water Park, it also puts the history of Hershey Chocolate on display with its "Chocolate World" section of the park.
Also making this year's list was Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park Resort in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Polynesian-themed park ranked 15th on this year's list and has a Tripadvisor rating of 4.2.
The park offers a variety of rides, laser tag, a VR arcade, and more. It's all indoors, allowing for visitors to get the full Waterpark experience year-round.
Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, earned a spot in Tripadvisor's top five
Knoebels, Pennsylvania's largest free-admission amusement park, ranks number three on the list with a Tripadvisor rating of 4.7. The park has been operating since 1926 and features roller coasters, swimming, camping, a championship 18-hole golf course, and more.
