RED LION, Pa. (WHTM) -- A memorial service was held Thursday afternoon for the three York County police officers killed in an ambush last week.
Detective Mark Baker, Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, and Detective Isaiah Emenhesier were all members of the York County Regional Police Department when they were fatally shot while investigating a stalking complaint in North Codorus Township on September 17.
Two other officers were injured during the ambush but are expected to recover. According to WellSpan, while neither officer has been formally discharged, one is attending Thursday's service.

The private memorial is at Living Word Community Church in Red Lion, with Governor Josh Shapiro and other local officials attending.

According to Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, a service to honor the life of Cody Becker will be held at Spring Grove High School.
It has been nearly 17 years since the Northern York Regional Police Department experienced a line of duty death. The ambush drew national attention with support from the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and the ATF.
