Verizon outage resolved: Company says it will give customers credits after phones stuck in 'SOS' mode

Verizon, the country's largest cell phone provider, apologized Wednesday night after issues lasting much of the day left subscribers suddenly left without cellphone service and stuck in "SOS" mode.
