Remains of Williamsport airman lost in Baltic Sea during World War II identified after 80 years

The remains of U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. John H. Danneker, 19, of Williamsport were accounted for on Dec. 10, 2024. He was lost over Denmark in June 1944.
