At 602 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sunbury, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Pottsville, Sunbury, Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Selinsgrove, Shenandoah, Danville, Minersville, Mahanoy City, Frackville, Northumberland, St. Clair, Kulpmont, Ashland, Elysburg, Fairview-Ferndale, Riverside, Port Carbon, Trevorton, and Tremont.
Recommended Actions:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
