WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 1 PM EST TUESDAY

...FIRST WIDESPREAD SNOW ACCUMULATION OF THE SEASON...

.The first widespread snow accumulation of the season will impact central Pennsylvania from late tonight into early Tuesday afternoon. Hazardous travel is expected during the Tuesday morning commute with a plowable snowfall expected. Mixed precipitation is likely near the Mason-Dixon line, where a glaze of ice is possible. Localized snowfall totals over 6 inches are possible at higher elevations to the east of US-15 and north of I-81/I-78 into the southern Poconos.

WHAT:
Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches.

WHERE:
A portion of central Pennsylvania.

WHEN:
From 3 AM to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

IMPACTS:
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
