WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police announced they are investigating a shots fired incident in Wilkes-Barre over the weekend.
According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on May 18 around 8:56 p.m., officers were called to Dana and Grove Street for a report of several gunshots being fired.
Victim identified in deadly Dallas Township crash
Once on the scene, police said they found several spent shell casings near a house on Dana Street.
Officers noted no one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.

DALLAS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY(WBRE/WYOU) — The Luzerne County Coroner has identified the victim in a deadly crash that occurred over the weekend on Route 309.
Coroner Jill Matthews states that on May 18 crews were called to Route 309 of Old Highway Road in Dalls Township for a two-vehicle crash.
Two-vehicle crash sends one to hospital
Matthews reports the driver of one of the cars involved, Mark Coulter, 61, was pronounced dead on the scene.

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State troopers say they arrested 91 drunk drivers during a weekend DUI enforcement in Luzerne County.
Pennsylvania State Police stated troopers and municipal police officers conducted 1,026 stops that included 91 arrests for intoxicated drivers and 33 arrests for possession of a controlled substance.

DINGMAN TWP., PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman was arrested after state police say she led them on a high-speed chase in a stolen car.
On May 20 around 6:00 a.m. troopers said they were patrolling Interstate 84 in Pike County when they saw a car traveling at a high speed.

OVERFIELD TWP., WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A two-vehicle crash shut down a Wyoming County road Monday morning.
Tunkhannock Township Police picture shows a truck and a car crashed into each other on State Route 307 in the area of Baja Lane in Overfield Township.
Police say around 9:30 a.m. a truck was backing into a private driveway when a car traveling along ST307 crashed into it.
Scranton grocery store closed after fire
One person was taken to the hospital for their injuries after the crash, officers stated.

LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for two people allegedly involved in multiple retail thefts in Luzerne County.
According to the Edwardsville Police Department, the two suspects pictured entered Market 32 in Edwardsville and stole $3,000 worth of items on multiple occasions.
Wilkes-Barre Township Police also reported the same suspect wanted in Edwardsville allegedly committed retail theft at Wegmans on May 19.
