Election officials, voting rights advocates say change necessary for Pa. election laws

HARRISBURG — Testimony delivered Wednesday at a Senate Democratic Policy Committee hearing aligned on changes sought to Pennsylvania’s election laws including a collective desire to create a pre-canvassing period for mail-in ballots to speed up the vote count on Election Day.
