MIFFLINBURG — The Mifflinburg Halloween Parade and Costume Contest is returning this year.The parade will form at 6 p.m. Oct. 28 at the middle school parking lot at 100 Mabel St. and moves at 6:30 p.m. It is a joint venture between some members of the Halloween Parade Committee and the Mifflinburg Heritage and Revitalization Association (MHRA).The parade will move from the middle school west on Market Street to First Street where it will turn south and go to the gymnasium entrance and into the gym. The costume judging in several age divisions will be in the high school gym at 75 Market St.The parade features the Marching Wildcat band and children in costumes. The parade route is about a half mile long and passes by in just a few minutes.Borough council members also approved trick or treating hours for 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31.
