West End Library's Drop Your Drawers Campaign a success

LAURELTON — The West End Library had a successful Drop Your Drawers campaign in September.Toni Novosel, the marketing director for the Union County library system, said the organization extends its "heartfelt gratitude to the community" for the annual event."We are proud to share that we collected 202 pairs of socks, 263 pairs of underwear, and 12 t-shirts for local children in need," Novosel said.These donations will be provided to the Mazeppa Manna Food Pantry for distribution to families within our community.The West End Library, 45 Ball Park Road, Laurelton along with The Public Library for Union County, 522 Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg, and Herr Memorial Library, 500 Market St., Mifflinburg make up the Union County Library System.— JUSTIN STRAWSER
