LEWISBURG — A Sunbury man who admitted to having sexually explicit conversations with a 14-year-old Mifflinburg girl in April will spend the next six to 23 months in Union County Jail.On Monday, Union County Judge Michael Piecuch sentenced David C. Brittingham, 27, of Airport Road, Sunbury, to the county jail incarceration followed by three years of probation. He must also register for life as a Megan's Law offender.In December, Brittingham pleaded guilty to two felony counts of dissemination of child sex act material and unlawful contact with a minor. All remaining charges were dropped.Police said the conversation between Brittingham and the girl had images that were sexual in nature, including nude photographs of the girl, pictures of the man’s genitals and several videos of him receiving sexual acts from a woman. The conversation occurred between April 16 and 26.After seizing the girl’s phone, police said Brittingham on April 26 sent a message asking the girl if she wanted to have sex. Police set up a meeting and arrested Brittingham at Harry Haney Memorial Park along North Eighth Street in Mifflinburg.— JUSTIN STRAWSER
