Circuit Judges Cheryl Krause, Peter Phipps and Anthony Scirica denied the mandamus petition filed by the former Mount Carmel doctor to recuse Brann, change the venue, appoint a legal counsel and have an expedited hearing. Brann presided over Kraynak’s trial and subsequent guilty plea in 2021.
