LEWISBURG — The Public Library for Union County will host the 14th Annual Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contest Winners in Gallery 255 in December.This year’s contest invited photographers to tell the stories of the Susquehanna River watershed through their camera lenses, capturing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. From the motion of kayakers gliding along the river to the quiet charm of historic towns and fleeting encounters with wildlife, each image offers a unique perspective on life, movement, and nature, according to organizers.Gallery 255 is located at the library at 255 Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg.Across the categories of Transportation, Recreation, River Towns and Wildlife, these photographs turn everyday scenes into vivid stories that inspire, surprise and connect viewers to the landscapes and communities of Pennsylvania, organizers said.The gallery will be open to the public throughout December during regular library hours.For more information and to learn more about the Susquehanna Greenway, visit susquehannagreenway.org.— THE DAILY ITEM
