Earth Day event planned for Bucknell...

LEWISBURG — The Bucknell Center for Sustainability & the Environment, the Climate Reality Project's Susquehanna Valley PA Chapter, Sierra Club Pennsylvania and Bucknell University are co-sponsoring an Earth Day event April 22."The PA Green Amendment: How The PA Constitution Can Power Environmental Advocacy" will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 22 at MacDonald Commons, Bucknell University, 560 Christy Mathewson Drive, Lewisburg. It will feature environmental advocate and educator Shaelyn Parker for a free public talk.Parker is an advocate and educator at Green Amendments For The Generations and the River Protection and Environmental Rights Advocacy Associate at Delaware Riverkeeper Network. Drawing on community organizing, group instruction and facilitation, science communication and research experience, Parker works to support accessible advocacy strategies that promote clean, safe and healthy environments for all.
