LEWISBURG — A Mifflinburg mother accused of sharing her medical marijuana vape pen with her “very hyper and high-strung” 15-year-old son pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count in Union County Court.On Friday, Melissa Ann Wagner, 40, of North Eighth Street, Mifflinburg, pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver in front of Union County Judge Michael Piecuch.The plea agreement, if accepted by the judge, calls for three to six months in jail or house arrest. All other charges, including a felony count of endangering the welfare of a child, will be dismissed.No sentencing date has been scheduled.Mifflinburg police allege Wagner allowed her son to use marijuana to help calm him between May and September.Wagner told police her son had been experiencing behavioral and temper issues for two to three months and described him as “very hyper and high-strung,” according to police.Wagner also admitted to purchasing nicotine vape pens for her son, police said.
