Millmont man sentenced to 1-year...

LEWISBURG — A Millmont man who had dreams of becoming a state trooper was sentenced Thursday to one year of probation for illegally filming sexual acts with a 16-year-old girl.Union County Judge Michael Piecuch sentenced Clayton Earl Miller, 23, of Millmont, to a probationary sentence and ordered him to pay $500 plus court costs and fees. Miller, who was 19 at the time of the incident, pleaded guilty in July to a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. The remaining charges, including felony counts of producing child sexual abuse material, were dismissed. District Attorney Brian Kerstetter said the victim requested the sentencing.In 2022, Miller filmed a 16-year-old girl performing a sexual act on him in Hartley Township, police said.Miller apologized in court to the victim and all others involved. His attorney, Hank Clarke II, of Lewisburg, said the sexual encounter was consensual. Miller volunteered the information when he was seeking a lifelong dream of a career with the state police."He's a good man who made a really, really, really egregious mistake when he was young,"  Clarke said.Piecuch said Miller should have had "common sense."
