MIDDLEBURG — Sealed bids for a new generator are being requested by Snyder County for its new inmate booking center in Middleburg.On Tuesday, the commissioners agreed to seek bids for a generator to be installed at the new booking center currently undergoing renovations at 12 S. Main St. next to the courthouse in Middleburg.Board Chairman Joe Kantz said the new location could be ready for occupancy by Snyder County Corrections before the end of the year. The department is currently still working out of the former prison on Old Colony Road outside Selinsgrove. — MARCIA MOORE
