JACKSON TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials say the superintendent of SCI Dallas has retired and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office is now involved.
Dr. Laurel Harry, Secretary Department of Corrections stated Kevin Ransom resigned as the superintendent of SCI Dallas on Friday, February 16.

Officials stated there an investigation with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office is pending, including an investigation involved with the Office of the State Inspector General However, details of the investigation have not been revealed.
The acting superintendent for SCI Dallas is Jasen Bohinski. Ransom was appointed in April of 2019.
