Drug operation in motorcycle shop results in two arrests, meth seized

BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A months-long investigation into a drug operation out of a motorcycle shop resulted in two arrests and meth seized, police stated.

According to detectives, for seven months the Columbia County Drug Task Force investigated methamphetamine being sold from a motorcycle shop known as American Cycle Fabrication in Bloomsburg.

Police say the two operating the drug sale were Paul Friebus, 67, and Robert "Drip" Rivera, 41, both of Bloomsburg. A search warrant was issued on Mach 8 against the business, Friebus was arrested on the scene while Rivera was arrested at a residence in Berwick.

As a result of the warrant officers stated they seized the following items;

95 grams of methamphetamine

Ziploc bags for packaging

Two digital scales

Marijuana

Three firearms

Through further investigation, police said they learned Rivera was selling meth on behalf of Friebus out of the motorcycle shop.

Both are facing various drug charges for the alleged crime.
