BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— On March 13, a former corrections officer in Columbia County was found not guilty of sexual assault.
On August 31, 2022, the PSP Bloomsburg Criminal Investigation Unit said they were requested to investigate the report of a sexual assault in the Columbia County Prison.
Dunmore residents warned of warranty scam
After an investigation, troopers filed charges against 59-year-old Joseph Rogutski.
The case went to trial and on March 13, 2024, a jury determined that Rogutski was not guilty on all charges that troopers had filed against him.
