Video evidence shown in Justin Schuback trial

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Lackawanna County Courtroom was packed Wednesday in the trial of accused killer Justin Schuback.

Schuback is accused of robbing and killing the owner of a Lackawanna County restaurant in 2017.

28/22 News Reporter Julie Dunphy has been in the courtroom all day.

Late Wednesday afternoon, video evidence was shown from the morning Robert Baron went missing.

The video played inside the courtroom for the jury.

It showed several different clips of Schuback traveling on foot in Old Forge.

The videos showed Schuback walking from the area of Howard Street to Ary's Gas Station.

Schuback then walks towards Foundry Street where he lived in 2017.

The video was taken around 8:40 am on January 26, 2017.

Victim identified in deadly Wilkes-Barre stabbing

Earlier Thursday, a brother and sister-in-law testified their names were Kevin and Kristin Snyder. They both lived on Connell Street at the time.

Mr. Baron at the time went missing. Kevin saw the missing vehicle around 6:45 a.m. that Thursday morning, he called the police that day when he saw it on the news.

That same morning, Kevin's sister-in-law Kristen walked her dog around 8:45 a.m. on Connell Street. However, the vehicle was no longer parked there.

Bobby Baron also testified Wednesday. His mother, two sisters, and other family members were present.

Bobby told the jury his father, Robert Baron was his hero.

The defense picked at inconsistencies, comparing Bobby's testimony Wednesday to his initial interviews with police, omitting his use of drugs at the time.

Six others also testified on Wednesday. The prosecution's case picks back up on Thursday morning.
