EYEWITNESS WEATHER (WBRE/WYOU) — The heat wave continues for northeast and central Pennsylvania with highs reaching the low and mid-90s Tuesday afternoon.

Heat Advisories remain in place until Tuesday evening, when heat index values can reach between 95-100 degrees at times.

Take extra precautions if you plan to be outdoors for an extended period of time!

After strong to severe storms that left many without power Monday evening, another round of scattered storms is expected by the afternoon.
