EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The NEPA Youth Shelter in Lackawanna County is relocating to a new temporary home until a permanent place is found.
The youth shelter says this temporary location will allow them to continue to provide a safe place for teens in need.
NEPA Youth Shelter helps teens 18 to 24 years old who are homeless and in need of somewhere to go.
Road restrictions set for La Festa Italiana
The center will be open for teens beginning next week.
"It's been such a search all summer long and just a week or so ago a gentleman called and said I know you're running out of time. I have some space available that you can have temporarily and let's make it happen," said NEPA Youth Shelter Executive Director Maureen Maher-Gray.
