LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Idetown Fire Company hosted its first monthly breakfast at its new location, the Old Lehman Township Firehouse.
The event is hosted on the first Sunday of every month.
The breakfast featured freshly made eggs, bacon, french toast, pancakes, and more.
Much of the department's funding comes from these company breakfasts to help afford their bills and other expenses.

The staff was well prepared for the 200-plus attendees.
"It's very important to us. I mean it's helping us, you know, we're helping them. You know, we're serving our community. The community supports us. We couldn't be more grateful for the community," said Jerry Walker, Vice President and Firefighter with the Idetown Volunteer Fire Department.
The fire company is always looking for more volunteers, both firefighters and social members.
