The winner represented Avoca's Wagon 112 Rescue Department in the event.
"It was awesome, you know? Best tasting ribs around. I love to be able to give back to the community," said contest winner George Chiger.
The money raised went to the fire department to help pay for safety equipment they may need including boots and gloves.
