HAWLEY, WAYNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A local family business is honored for 175 years in service.
This month, the Teeter family is celebrating their 175th anniversary for Teeters Furniture and Teeters' Funeral Chapel, both located in Hawley.
Wright Center opens new primary care facility in Dickson City
Senator Lisa Baker and State Representative Jeff Olsommer presented citations to Julie and Dick Teeter on behalf of the businesses founded in 1849 by cabinetmaker Richard Adam Teeter.
The Teeters were honored for their longstanding service to residents in Wayne and Pike counties.
Teeters Furniture is located at 327 Main Ave in Hawley and Teeters' Funeral Chapel is located at 505 Church St in Hawley.
