Police investigating reports of shots fired near shooting residence

NANTICOKE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Nanticoke City Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired on Thursday night.

Police were called there tonight for reports of shots fired.

Police were back in Minden Court of the honey pot section of Nanticoke Thursday night.

Nanticoke deadly shooting investigation continues

They were called there for what neighbors say sounded like gunshots. They were investigating near the home where a teenager was shot and killed this past weekend.

The coroner has not yet released information about the cause and manner of Sipple's death.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
