Victim airlifted in critical condition after I-80 crash

SUGARLOAF TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A section of I-80 westbound is shut down after a Thursday morning crash.

According to PennDOT, Interstate 80 westbound is shut down between Exit 256 (Conyngham/Nescopeck) and Exit 242 (Mainville/Mifflinville).

Traffic Information

The Sugarloaf Fire Company states that at least two people had to be taken to the hospital, one of which had to be airlifted with critical injuries.
