WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It's Workforce Development Month in Pennsylvania and sometimes, starting a new career path or finding a new job can be difficult.
That is why PA CareerLink hosted its annual CareerLink Day in Wilkes-Barre.
Nearly 40 employers and community agencies were there and the event helps connect people in the community with local employers.

"We've got fabulous local employers that have great jobs that are available, and what's really nice about it is you can actually talk to a recruiter for that company right here," said administrator for PA CareerLink offices in Luzerne County Christine Jensen.
PA CareerLink has locations in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Hazleton, and the Poconos.
