WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A long-standing feud led to a shooting near Movies 14 in Wilkes-Barre that left one man dead and another man arrested.
According to the search warrant, witnesses saw the victim, Lonnie Davis, 35, of Wilkes-Barre, and a woman arguing while walking on Livingston Lane, an alleyway across from Movies 14.
A few minutes later a man, Branden Delcastillo, 28, showed up and fired three or four shots, striking the victim, according to Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce.
The victim crossed the street, then fell to the ground while Delcastillo and the woman jumped into a black vehicle where the woman drove and fled the scene, as stated in the search warrant.

As a result of the investigation, Delcastillo was arrested Monday evening and police said they learned he had an ongoing feud with Davis.

Police said the vehicle suspected of being used after the shooting was discovered in Kingston and officers have searched it for evidence.
"An obvious concern for the chief the mayor and myself was the fact that it happened during broad daylight. In this case, we had a number of good people come forward, helped us make an arrest in this case very quickly," stated Sanguedolce.
Delcastillo has been charged and remains in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
